The process of an artist is to visualize the finished work before it is started. Bob and Karen had a vision of taking a disatourous mud hole and turning it into a beautiful water garden. Below is the end result. The pond was dug by Bob, Karen, their daughter Jessica, and Bob's nephew Steven. The 600 lb. Water Fall Stone was installed by Bob and Karen with the help of their tractor. It took them close to 10 tries to get it right.
This water garden has been an on going project for nearly 5 years. Bob is contantly improving it, adding antique street pavers, and incorporating birdhouses to create a wildlife habitat. Karen takes care of all the planting and gardening.
Both outer pictures are of Bob setting the waterfall stone for the pond. In the center photo, Bob's wife and daugther, Karen and Jessica, began to dig the hole for the pond in solid clay (not an easy task).
