
The sign hung on the front of the building extending out to the road so it was visible from both sides. |
The panels were then completely rewired using the original sockets. The picture to the right shows the signs original wiring. |
The panels on one side were removed and a wooden frame was added to even out the back allowing the sign to sit flush against a wall. |
Brackets were fabricated to allow the sign to hang on a wall and the white and green colors were enhanced by very light painting. This piece now hangs in the La Porte County Historical Museum. |
